Exchange for Converse
I bought a pair of platform converse on black Friday a few months ago and on the website it said to order a size down. So thats what I did and they came way too small and were severely uncomfortable. I did get a chance to return them before the 60 days so now i just have a pair of unused converse that I can wear. Is there anyway I could still exchange them?

We bought my granddaughter a pair of platform high tops while out of town. The soles are already coming off and it has not even been a month. I don't know who to contact to get either a replacement or a refund. I cannot back to the place we bought them because we were traveling. I took pictures of the shoes to show just how poorly they must have been made. This is very disappointing because she was so excited get the shoes!!!

Complaint about Manager at Westgate Store

Hi there,

On the 1st of March I went to the store with my 2 1/2 years old grandson to purchase him shoes. The casual employee (female) was very helpful but she didnt tell me that I couldnt return the shoes or exchange as they were on a sale.

On going home I tried the shoes on my grandson and they were tight so my partner, grandson and I went to exchange it around 4 pm. The young female employee was by herself in the store and she told me she couldnt exchange as she had to wait for her manager who was away on lunch. Anyway she called him and I asked her if she would like me to talk to him but she said it was ok. I asked if she could exchange it as I wasnt asking for a refund but just a bigger size and she said she couldnt as she would risk loosing her job and I said that I would not want that for her.

When the manager returned he asked me what happened and I said it was a wrong size and I didnt have a receipt but had proof of purchase which I was ready to show him. He said that they dont process exchanges but I said that I wasnt informed otherwise I wouldnt be there and the casual employee admitted that she hadnt told me. He processed it and said that Im doing it this once for you but next time make sure you dont leave a mess. I was wondering what he was referring to and so I asked him if the store had a NO CHILD policy because I didnt see it.

He said no but apparently I had left shoes outside the boxes after trying them on my grandson. I then asked him if that was a policy in the store and if there was signage displayed so I could understand if I was breaking any rules. He said that I had attitude and I was taken aback. Heres a manager who was blatantly rude and arrogant talking to a customer and blaming the customer for having an attitude.

I then was upset and walked out and he came after me saying that I still had the tag on and so I asked him to take it off but he didnt and instead verbally abused me and told me to *** and walked away. This was witnessed by my partner who had our grandson with him.

Im appalled that you have such a rude, arrogant and illiterate man as a manager in your store.

I would like you to investigate it before I go legal to report the verbal abuse I went through with your so called Manager who has to have the ability to diffuse situations instead of escalating it. The casual employee was more conscientious of her role and responsibilities as a casual staff member and deserves a pat on her back.

Missing order

I ordered 7 pairs of sneakers on November 30th as Christmas presents for my grandchildren. One pair arrived quickly and the tracking info for the remaining 6 said "label created and awaiting pickup".

Five days before Christmas tracking has a new delivery date of December 28, after Christmas! Customer service reorders 3 with expedited shipping but 3 are no longer available. Only 2 of the 3 expedited sneakers arrive and customer service doesn't know where the 3rd pair is. I was able to find one of the unavailable sneakers at Nordstrom for double the price it arrived the next day.

Calling got me nowhere, emailing an executive in shipping did get me a call, a refund of the missing items and a promise to make up for paying double the price. The refund they gave me?...$5 dollars short and nothing for paying double the amount elsewhere unless you call the offer of 20% off my next purchase as compensation. Two calls and 1.5 hours later I got my $5.00.

Worst shopping experience of my life. I will never buy Converse again.

This complaint is about online order 20822****, placed on July 17th. At 4 pm on July 21st, I checked the tracking number 685063****59 on the Converse website, which led me to the FedEx website.

It showed that the product was delivered at 12:40 pm on July 21st, and I only received the delivery confirmation email from Converse at night. As soon as I saw the picture, I noticed the box was supposed to be left on the front porch. I then thoroughly checked the building and asked the neighbors, but no one saw the package. Therefore, I have not received it.

I tried several times to contact Converse through chat, and they told me to contact FedEx. I opened a claim with FedEx, and the response I received was that the claim was denied because they had a picture proving the delivery, and I should contact the shipper. So, I went back to the Converse chat, and the representative said, "We cannot provide a resolution for delivered packages since we have proof of delivery.

Do you have any other questions for me?" The order cost me $140, and I don't think it's a big deal for a huge company to provide a replacement and a better support service. This was my first time ordering from this website, and sadly, it will be my last.

Neither will replace/refund due to proof of delivery. You should file a police report just to document the theft. Also you need to find a retailer that offers FedEx pickup in your city such as Walgreens or Office Depot.

Ordered a pair of Converse for Granddaughter for Christmas and had to return as she didnt like the color. They received return on 1/16 but now they say I have to wait 7-14 business days (or longer because warehouse is busy). I am pretty sure they dont wait 7-14 days to charge for an item and if charging a credit card is that quick, crediting one should be just as quick.

Please change to womens 11.5 the largest size before shipping. Wrong size ordered customer service is closed Sunday. Mens 9.5 or womens 11.5 is the size needed before shipping. Thank you.

My chat timed out after spending tons of time trying to get to the bottom of an issue. I was issued two different order numbers for the same product and my email address isnt even being recognized on the website when I used it to place the order. This technology is very poor that you were employing on your site.. Ive been buying things from Converse for years, but this definitely makes me want to shop elsewhere and buy a different brand of shoes.
